Agree with the general principles but it is important that the money raised is used to finance additional activities and not to replace existing funding for tourism related activity

It will be a problem if some Councils make use of the new power and others do not. This will effect achieving the aim to improve tourism infrastructure across all of Wales.

Tourists choosing to visit those areas who don't take part in the scheme putting further pressure on the infrastructure in that area but without the extra resources.

One of the main areas where local authorities struggle to allocate sufficient resources to is maintaining rights of way. The new funding source should help provide additional resources for rights of way work as part of the infrastructure to attract green minded tourists to enjoy the Welsh countryside.
